Service to Sister Today: update

After months and months of this and thousands of dollars, I am hoping my sister will be served today. This is the second round of trying to serve her for the Convertorship Case. She does not answer the door. So needless to say I am a nervous wreck today know I will be once again banned from my mom's by my sister and mom will now put me on her **it list.

My Attorney's son is going to sit on the porch and wait for my sister to come outside and get the Meals on Wheels out of the ice chest then serve her. The only small glitch will be in my mom's nosey neighbor interferes and calls the police because someone is sitting on the porch.

Some of you know this long saga some do not, but it is ugly. For the ones that do here is a little update. My sister told my cousin that she entended the "Olive Branch" and is trying to work things out by letting me see mom and talking to me. So my cousin mentioned to my sister that we go back to the way it was when we were working together and my sister to her it was not going to happen. So much for Extending the proverbial "Olive Branch". She still had a security system installed which I have to access too so I have to call when I decide to visit.

Thank you both I keep trying. Sadly this is not doing much for my health. My doc is sending me to a cardiologist. Stairs are starting to bother me. But I refuse to let it beat me, I am just too. My sister will find when pushed I push back.

I am now pacing the floor.

I’m sorry to hear about your kitty. I pray she comes home soon. In the meantime I was going to send you a video of my cat purring so you could listen to the soothing sound. Unfortunately I can’t figure out how to upload a video here. Dang.

At the moment my sister has herself planted there so nope that does not work. I have had Adult Protection there twice and they think everything is fine since my sister claims to be mom's caretaker. I am sure she fed mom something else and picked up the food after my stakeout left.

Finally accomplished this morning. My Attorney's 18 yr son got it done, and of course, mom called about 5 min later.

So happy for this small victory. I'm sure your mom is upset but you know its worth her anger, especially since she doesn't fully understand what is going on.

Hopefully this will get you on the way to getting your mom back.

We will see. I am really now just going for free access to my mom's and controlling the finances. Hopefully, my sister will decide not to contest it. If she wants to continue living there and taking care of mom fine, she is just not going to take cruises on mom's money anymore. She will never be approved for conservatorship but if she contests it there is a chance the court may appoint an outside conservator. Then mom will probably be in trouble and be placed in a facility. Court date is in May

That's great news that they were finally able to serve her. Keeping you in my prayers that things go well for you. You're doing what's best for your mom, just keep remembering that. You have her best interest in mind.

Things are going from bad to worse. My sister has been diagnosed with a severe infection of the pancreas, and cancer runs rampant on her father's side. This I would not wish on anyone. She goes to a specialist Thursday to find out what he has to say. This info came after she had a mri on Friday. As angry and mean as she has been I would not have wanted any of this. Anything with the pancreas is usually not good.

Oh Carolyn, I'm so sorry to hear this. My mother had pancreatic cancer of which they caught really early by accident. They were able to remove part of the pancreas and her spleen and she has done amazingly well. She's been clean for over 5 years now. I pray all goes well for her and once again will keep you in my thoughts.
