Someone asked me to make hops soap. The hops were a pretty green when they went in. When I cut it the next day, they were brown.

Welcome to the board :)! What they are getting at is, you need to know the ins and outs of soapmaking before selling. Reading about it and doing it are two very different things. You said you are new to it. It is not about owning a business with different products :).

I love Brambleberry Dark Rich Chocolate and Chipotle Caramel in CP soap. They smell wonderful. I love patchouli EO and sweet orange EO in soap.

I throw mine into a double batch of homemade laundry detergent.

The funny thing is, it wasn't even my second or third batch that did this, it was my fourth and fifth batch. All the other batches are fine. I will try lowering the amount of hemp oil and upping the coconut oil. Thanks!

I love Brambleberry! Dark Rich Chocolate, Chipotle Caramel and Clementine Cupcake all smell fantastic. The Dark Rich Chocolate discolors to a brown color and Chipotle Caramel is a light brown. I haven't used the Clementine Cupcake yet. Still waiting for more carrier oils to come next week...

I called them a few years ago to get prices on oils because there was no on-line store. The people I talked to were very nice but I have never ordered from them. The shipping quote they gave me was way more expensive than soaperschoice.com. I get much better quotes when I want to buy more...

Very cool! I use wire mesh on my racks and so far, so good! I bought it in the garden section of Lowe's fairly cheap.

I froze my milk until it was slushy. I slowly added the lye and stirred slowly. It came out beautifully!

I purchased my dead sea mud from Camden-Grey. The two times I have used it, it cam out tacky after 24 hours. One time I insulated, the other I did not insulate. I also didn't use EO the first time around and it smelled strongly of the mud. The next time I used EO and it smells way better.

I don't scent my beer soap, either.

Mine is like the one from Brambleberry. It is like the 4 lb mold that is 15"x2.25"x3.25". I can get 48 oz of oil into the batches. I don't mind the shape much when I do a smooth top, but not so much with a rounded top. I think the bars look funny. I do have a bigger mold that will do 64 oz...

That is good shipping. I didn't think that I was that far away. Shipping for 7-7 lb. containers to me is almost $30. Everyplace I order from seems to have fairly high shipping, but I live in the middle of nowhere :lol: .

You can add all f the stuff to your cart and punch in you zip code to check for shipping cost. It is kind of high unless you are ordering a bunch of oils/butters.
