Soap is slimy

Hello everyone,can anyone tell me if u have had a problem with your soap being slimy,I mean like you wash with it for the first time and it sticky and slimy,might I add I tried ti use it,it's only cured for 1 week snday. Any advice please help. I just wanted to try it out. Did the lye test and no tingling.

Hi Soapymommy and welcome to the forum, I often cant wait till my soaps are fully cured before trying them out and the worst I have encountered has been a bit bitey on my eyes. Being slimy makes me wonder if you are way short on Lye. You will get more responses to questions on Cold Process Soap if you post them to CP section of this forum. Happy Soaping. Steve.
