I have my challenge soap all planned out. The recipe is printed, the workspace cleared, supplies gathered together. It is so quiet and gray outside, I just seem to be moving in slow motion. I'll probably put a movie on my tablet to break me out of it, but I was wondering what other people do. Music? Movie? Audiobook? Or is cloudy silence golden?
To be honest I've been puttering around my house in silence a lot more recently, though when I soap it tends to be later in the evening with my daughter possibly asleep so that it often a contributing factor. But if I'm off and cleaning it's either music from Spotify or an Audiobook. Spotify has been going a bit too far down it's rabbit hole lately. For example did you know that Pirate Death Metal was a thing? Neither did I until Spotify suddenly decided I would like it. (I still can't decide if it was right on that call or not)
I love the silence. When it's gray outside and quiet, I get very calm and relaxed. It's very peaceful.
