Hi,
I made my first batch of Hot Process soap with Honey & Oatmeal.

I just cut the soap and found these white blobs(?) here and there in the middle.
(Please see attached picture. Kind of looks like white choc chip in oatmeal cookie)

I never got them with Cold process so I am very confused.

I used find ground oatmeal and raw honey(diluted in water).
And there weren't any clumps because I mixed in really well.

Oils used = olive, coconut, castor, avocado & shea butter

Thank you in advance.

Those are just dried bits of soap that gets scraped of the sides of the crock and mixed back into the batter. Purely cosmetic and safe to use. They are very common in HP, especially when you are first starting out.

Oh~~~ thank you so much for your quick reply!!
Thank goodness it's not something bad.
Next time I will be sure not to scrape the dried bits into the mold. :D
