I made soy candles for the first time 2 days ago. I'm testing them now, and there's something definitely wrong here. There's a little pool of melted wax around the wick, and the flame is drowning. The wax I'm using is Ecosoya CB Advanced, the candle is 3x3x3, and the wick is an LX 22. Is my wick too small for this candle or is there another reason for what's happening?

Hang in there. Sounds like the wick may be too small for the density and width of your candle. Candle science.com sells small packs of wicks for you to sample. Good luck.
