tracking offline sales

For those of you who sell both online and offline (or even just offline) what do you use to track your offline sales? a simple spreadsheet, a specific program, something else? or do you manually add the orders in at the back end of your online ecommerce system. Just trying to decide what is the most efficient way to do it

I use Simply Accounting for all my sales.... helps me at the end of the year....

Lindy is that a program a person can buy or is it as it states "Simple Accounting" ? Sorry if this sounds stupid.
