Thanks to everyone for posting your salt bar successes and helping me with citrus and patchouli scents. I finally have the first batch of the year that I'm truly happy with. Here it is! (Maybe this means the dark cloud is lifting ) The bars on the right were made in a 9-bar slab mold, and the leftover batter was put in a small log showing to the left.

Yay!! What was your recipe? How much salt did you use in relation to your oils? What are the cute pinky speckles?
Now all we have to do is wait for them to cure.....

80% coconut
15% avocado oil
5% castor
Pink Himalayan sea salt
Grapefruit/patchouli/and a smudge of orange 10x

Waiting to cut, waiting to cure...ahhh, the life of a soaper. Good to have company on this forum.

Those sounds really nice and I bet them smell fantastic. Please let use know how you like them, I'm curious about the addition of avocado.

I will let you know in two weeks! Also, I failed to mention that my salt ratio fell somewhere between 72-75%... It's all I had.
