Storing homemade exfoliant

Hi guys

I make my own body exfoliant on the cheap for use before applying fake tan each Friday night. I usually use oats, softened in warm goats milk with added honey.

I'd like to save even more money and time by making my exfoliant in bulk but due to the natural products, it goes off from one week to the next.

Does anyone know what I can do or add to be able to bottle my conconction to make it last for 6 months or so at a time?

you can get powdered goats milk and honey powder, mix them with the oats,
and add warm water to reconstitute the powdered products when you
are ready to use your exfoliant. You can get the stuff here:

I think bombus's idea rocks . Have you tried refrigerating it or adding a preservative ?

I like leaving in powder form until ready to use, otherwise you'll need to use a preservative. If you preserve with any milk use the maximum amount of preservative.
