I would like to make a tree-like scent and want to use spruce and balsam fir eo's. My ratio will be 1 balsam fir to 2 spruce. What PPO do you suggest?
Thanks,
Carolyn

I'm afraid I can't really be much help since I've never used balsam or fir eo, I generally use 1oz ppo for most of the eo and fo I use, but I'm thinking a pine scent could be one of those you could get away with using less...but that would just be guessing. Maybe someone with more experience will chime in.

I find fir needle to be really potent. A little goes a long way.

I recently did a spruce/rosemary/vetiver/citrus blend and used around .75 PPO. However, I like medium-level scented soaps.

Thank you paillo and soapbuddy!!! This was exactly what I needed. I never thought I could use that high of a percentage. Thank you - thank you- thank you!!
