Have only ordered from a few suppliers so far:
Brambleberry fo's = brown glass bottles
Heaven scent fo's = plastic bottles
The Scent works fo's = plastic bottles
WSP fo's was told come in glass bottles.
Daystar fo's = plastic bottles

My question is why the difference? I understand if you keep fo's for a long time you probably want the nice brown glass bottles. Does the plastic bottles lose scent over time?

Thanks so much to learn.

i don't know about FO's, but EO's are said to degrade with light, which is why it's best (so i've read) to keep them in the brown bottles

suppliers choose plastic because the bottles are cheaper and lighter (thus cheaper to ship to them, and cheaper to ship to us).

the recommendation is to transfer to amber glass once you receive them.

Plastics are more likely to be "porous" to a degree and let some of the components of the FO to escape through them.
