I want to get into making candles with palm wax and have found a starter kit that is very reasonably priced.
But, when doing research on this .. I got conflicting statements...
The site where I will be buying my starter kit stated that this wax is a "two pour" wax.... Well, there is a site just for palm wax and reading that site states that for a pillar mold 3x6.5 it's only a "one pour"....
Well, the mold that I will be getting in the kit is going to be a 3x6.5.... So, which site should I listen to??
Also, this might be a stupid question.... But, what does "two pour" mean???

Palm wax needs to cool very slowly so it doesn't get air pockets. Put towels or a cardboard box over the mold to let it cool slowly. A 2nd pour is needed only when there are air pockets or cracks or if layering another color. I absolutely love palm, especially over soy, because it is much more eco friendly (75% of soy is gmo), it burns beautifully and evenly, it holds scent very well, and it has an array of beautiful finishes.
