I have a friend who is wanting me to make her a margarita scented soap. I don't drink margaritas so I wouldn't know what one smells like, so I have no way of determining whether a particular margarita FO is a good one or not.

So, anyone ever try a good margarita FO and if so, where'd ya get it ?

I haven't tried any margarita FOs, but if you're trying to imagine what a margarita smells like.... think lime + tequila + salt.

How lame huh ? that I have no clue what a freakin' margarita smells like LOL I'm a beer lover, I can tell you what brand a beer is just by smell and color, but those mixed drinks BLECH :?

I saw a Jose Lime Margarita at SOS, wondering if anyone's tried it.

I just ordered one from Natures Garden, and it is wonderful! You can smell the salt, lime, and just a touch of tequila. Yummy! I have soaped it (CP) with no A or D, and the scent is very strong and true at .75 PPO. I made both a regular CP bar (olive, coconut, lard, shea & castor) and a salt bar (coconut, shea, & castor) and both smell fantastic!

NG's margarita faded within 2 weeks for me and then there was no scent left at all. Just an FYI to check it every couple of weeks as it cures to see if the scent is still there... I tried it with 3 different recipes thinking it was probably just the recipe I was using, but nope, it faded in all 3...

For my particular tastes, I think CLV smells like a margarita...

I got a lime one from WSP and I made it about a month ago. It is still super strong and smells divine!
