Glitter From Craft Stores?

Howdy folks,

Just wondering, is there anything special about the glitter that soaping supply companies sell, or would glitter from craft stores like Micheal's be okay to use in CP?

Sometimes they have fun ones that would be adorable on cupcakes, but I wouldn't want them to melt or discolor.

I bought glitter from Michael's since so little is used on top and it washes off anyways. I hope it's safe!

The only glitter I would use from Michaels would be found in the face painting/body tattoo section.. Or in the cake baking aisles. If it's from the scrapbooking or crafts sections it's probably not body safe ... which means the particles are larger, sharper, colored with dyes not meant for skin and may contain metals and glass. Not worth the risk in my opinion.
