I've cleaned this dang detergent bottle a basquillion times and it still smells like flippin detergent. I want to use it for a master batch of lye, but im unsure if the bottle is clean enough because I can still smell the flippin detergent grrr.

Any tips or advice is greatly appreciated TY :)

I finally quit trying to get the sent out. After storing the masterbatch, the scent is gone.

Also, the scent will not transfer to your soap...
Next time I'm gonna buy unscented detergent though.

I use vinegar and hot water. Let that sit overnight at least. Fill with hot water. Let that sit for at least 12 hours, but better to let it sit 24.
