Energized after soaping?

Anyone ever experience this after an evening soaping? just finished up 36 lbs of soap (3 recipes) and I am exhausted but charged at the same time. Doing it again tomorrow. I must be insane

I don't think you're crazy at all. I always get so very excited and energized after finishing a batch of soap. Perhaps it's that sense of accomplishment that energizes us so much?

Whenever I finish a batch, even if it caused me momentary grief through accelerated trace or seizing, I always feel a sense of elation when I am finished.

Any bad mood I might have been in disappears when I get out that stick blender. 8)
