Been busy getting ready for the Christmas craft show in town and whipped up some cupcakes. Bottoms are scented with Christmas Cravings (NG) and tops are Egg Nog (Saffire). A dash of cinnamon and sugar and voila! I think I enjoy making cupcakes more than regular bar soaps....

Those look so amazing. Did you color the bottoms? Wrl you remove the paper wraps to cure?

Didn't use any coloring in them since they'll turn a medium brown anyways. I've never had a problem with paper wrappers. I pour the soap right into them, and they always release easily for me :) I use fancy wrappers - these ones are black and white damask pattern. So they look even prettier when packaged.

hellogorgeous I hope you'll show us the pictures of packaged cupcakes ;)

For sure! I'm just waiting for my containers to come in. Right now all I have is one pic from last year's christmas batch - just the top view.

Oddly, I still find bar soaps sell better.

How cute is that!
Cupcake soaps are really nice presents, but I guess ssoap bars are more user friendly

I think people don't like to use them cause they are so darn cute, but I have found, using a poof, they function just as well as a bar. If you're rubbing the soap directly onto your skin then I agree, a bar would be more pleasant here are my packaging ideas:
