I was making body butter and while multi tasking I accidentally poured a block of melted paraffin wax into my melted butters. :Kitten Love: I went ahead and made the butter but its awful!!its a waxy mess! I remelted it hoping the paraffin would separate but no luck. What do I do? I have 3lbs of butters in it and I don't want to throw them away:!: any help is appreciated at the very least can I cut the recipe down and add more butter to make it less waxy? Help please!!

I don't know if more butter can be added to save it. However, you could use it for wax treatments if you're into spa services. I know a lot of people have a negative opinion of paraffin but it's great to help soften feet and hands.

I don't know what else to suggest because I don't even know if you could use it to make massage candles. I suppose if the paraffin was food grade you could try to make a massage candle to see if it would work. I found an article which mentions using shea butter and soy wax so maybe it will be helpful for you.

Maybe someone else will have a better answer.
