I have been attempting to find a reasonably priced soap beveler and have not been very successful. Does anyone on the forum use a beveler and if so, do you know where I can get a decent one?

i use a little carpenter's hand planer i can get at any local hardware store. there are 2 models -- one is much sturdier, heavier and doesn't rust as fast as the lighter one does. i keep it clean and oiled to avoid rust. love the price tag at about $8 :)

If you are handy, it is pretty easy to make one. If you want, I can post pictures this weekend.

Yes, it is.
My hub made mine in less than 10 minutes, and less than a $10 cost.
