i did it a year or two ago with my mom, had a pretty good time!

good news is i'm sure i have all the yarn i need because i just packed it all up in the spare room closet this weekend bad news is- since they dont reveal the entire pattern all at once- i have a heck of a time deciding which colors to use

I love mystery knits bu I usually join a designer’s group on ravelry if I’m going to do one.

I don’t know how this one if being run, but in the groups I join there’s usually a flurry of everyone posting their yarn choices to show off/compare. I usually steal my color inspiration there or (more likely) just pick what seems to be an appropriate yardage from my stash.
