    bath bomb speckles....GRRR!!

    I think but could be wrong, but because there is so little liquid used, that it is moisturizing a bit of the colorant and that is the darker spots. This is just a guess. I too love the speckles.

    It is actually ok to use the same day. All they lye should be cooked out. But it is better to let it harden for at least a week.

    Is homemade laundry soap ok for septic?

    I have too read that it is even better for septic systems. The soap doesn't sud as much as the detergent you buy. It also brakes down much easier. Again, this is just from the things I have read and it make sense to me.
