Here is a comparison of two "white" bars, none of which contains colorants or titanium dioxide.

The sample on the left contains lard, coconut oil and palm, and it's made with water (it's my alkanet sample bar, I just turned it over on its face). The sample on the right contains lard, coconut, palm, castor and shea, and it's made with goats milk.

DO you use fresh goats milk or canned. I used the canned in mine and I noticed that it was a darker creamy color than if I had just used water. I noticed in my most recent batch of soap that there was a small part at the top that didn't gel, but it really wasn't that much lighter than the portion that did gel.
 
I used fresh 2% out of a carton. I would have used whole milk if they'd had it, but they didn't.
