what to call flavor oils in lip balm label

...on the list of ingredients? these are new to me. I know that fragrance oils are just called 'fragrance'. Are flavor oils just 'flavor'? Those of you who use them in lip balms, what do you call them? TIA

I would think flavoring would be what you put on the label. I am not positive how lip balms work in how descriptive you have to be on things.

From what I understand it's just "fragrance" and "flavor". Some people disagree that it can be so vague but as far as going "by the book" I am fairly sure that that's all you need.

I don't make it myself, but the lady I buy from on Etsy labels her lip balm "flavor oil."
