I know there will be an answer on the board somewhere but I can't find it sorry.
Is mica added at trace?or mixed up in the batter?just swirled through dry? or just brushed on the top for extra sparkle?
I've bought some lovely micas- ultras, and some gold, silver and bronze and I don't want to waste them by not using them correctly, could someone who uses them please advise me?-I would love to be able to add a metallic swirl but don't know how
Many thanks for all/any answers- you guys are aces :D

I just watched this. It should get you started.

note that not all micas will hold their color in cp. check the manufacturer's descriptions and instructions carefully before you use, or you may wind up with icky gray instead of a vibrant color. ask me how i know ;)

I typically mix my micas with oil and add after the soap is emulsified. But there are many acceptable ways of incorporating micas. I second that you double-check that the micas are cp stable.
