Summer Bee Meadow Recipe Resizer Question

I have used the recipe re-sizer calculator to re-size a 2lb recipe to 4lb based on the measurements of my mold. However, I am leftover with about a cup of extra soap and nowhere to go with it. Is it safe to "fudge" the measurements of my mold down to reduce the amount of soap? So if it is 14" long, can I just calc with 12" to get all the correct ingredient specs and less soap?

Do u have any yogurt containers or anything similar? That's what I do if I have leftovers. I did by a plastic mold with several cavities for this purpose. Works great!

I have a mold that I always have overflow from and I use a Caesar dog food container. The soap comes out looking amazing! Hee Hee
