Somebody mentioned to me happy thoughts about a sulfur bar and after I did some research on the topic and I am still left with a lot of questions.
Thank you for any thoughts or any idea that might fit into a sulfur bar.
1. Sulfur as soap ingredient is that yellow powder or it refers to some other substance containing sulfur ?
2. Any thoughts about combining MSM / black salt / sulfur into a stinky salt bar ? Maybe a bit of clay too ...
3. Does sulfur/MSM react to lye ? Is it supposed to ? I'd prefer to go CP, unless HP gives better results.
Maybe this is why people say sulfur soap stinks (seeing that raw sulfur doesn't have a very strong smell).
4. Any suggestions regarding scents ? I don't mind strong smells, and I'd rather choose a scent which goes together with it than against it.
5. Will sulfur colour the soap ?
6. Some people say it's drying. Should I superfat more, towards 10-12% ?
7. Am I missing anything ?
