silicone spray

i want to use a silicone spray to spray my soap molds (will come out easier after freezing 1 hr.)
i think 'food grad' - but they have several types. any ideas would be appreciated. thanks

What material are you spraying onto?

clear plastic molds (like milky way brand)

I would use mineral oil, not a silicone spray. Food grade sprays tend to have saponifiables in there, where is mineral oil is skin safe, and won't saponify. Just make sure it is the very very thinnest of coats or you could end up with pock marks/holes in your soap.

I have tried silicone spray and IMO, it doesn't work nearly as well as petroleum jelly.
