So is rebatching soap cold process almost like making hot process soap at that point? Also, is it safe to rebatch in a crockpot? I have over 50oz of cp soap shredded down but I don’t have a pot big enough to fit it all or can I rebatch the soap split in half? I left out an ingredient in the soap and I’m sure it’s lye heavy so that’s why I’m needing to rebatch. I was thinking about splitting it in half and add the ingredients I missed in halfs in the rebatch. (So I could have room to make it on the stove in a pot) I hope this makes sense. Thank you!

I re-batch my soap in a slow cooker. If you split your batch in half, just add half of the missing oil/butter to each batch.
