Hi,
So, I just had my first soap fail... I made a full vanilla with a little honey scented soap, added some brown to it and the center of the soap which should be brown has just gone light green, and the exterior is a warm brown.
I just demolded it and its still soft, smells AMAZING, but is really ugly.

I've never rebatched a soap, and before I mess it up, I have some questions I hope someone can help me with!

1 - After re-melting the soap, how long does it have to cure for?
2 - for 1400 grams of soap, how much water should I add?
3 - this soap is much softer than I thought it would be, will it become harder once cured after melting?
4 - Will the Fragrance "burn" or disipate with this process?

Thank you so much in advance! ♥♥

I’m sure it will probably turn brown as it cures if there is a high vanilla content. I would possibly wait and see if it darkens.

Thank you, I will wait a few days to see if it darkens!
I wanted to gift these to family members for Christmas, so I'm a little worried
