I have done few batches of cold processed soaps. And I just realized that there are these air bubbles thingy when I mix my lye to my oil. And they sit there. Sometimes it creates actual air bubbles when I cut my soap. Sometimes they don't. I was wondering how can this happen. I soap at room temp sometimes 40-45° C. And I bang my oil and lye mixture to get rid of air bubbles. I mix my mixture in a stainless stell bowl.

To help prevent air bubbles, try pouring down the sides of your container when measuring the oils. When incorporating lye water into your oils, pour down the shaft of your stick blender. Make sure to burp your blender to release any air pocket trapped into the bell at the bottom.
