I fear I have over lubricated my molds! The soap itself (the part not touching the Petroleum Jelly) is fine and beautiful, but the other sides are, well, greasey and unpleasant looking.
I'm thinking I will just wait for them to cure, then wash it off? it's not like it's going to dry out.
Has this ever happened to anyone else??

I had a similar situation with a pvc mold, the soap was fine after it hardened a bit. I started using mineral oil or baby oil on the mold and find it works much better .

thanks for the tip :D I'm going to have to try that! anything to avoid this icky mess again. I ended up waiting a day and them wiping them off with paper towels, most of it is gone, but still alitlle slick. :D
