I just made a couple of batches of soap and need to do a wrap of some sort. Does anybody have a template to share or link..

Or just how to ???? I'm selling it so I would like something simple and easy to do..

Thanks..

Hi Brenda,

I use cigar bands to label my soap. Once you put your design together they are easy and inexpensive to replace when necessary. We do farmers' markets, so my labels sometimes get dirty from handling and I can easily exchange the dirty ones for new ones.

If you have Microsoft Publisher, you can use this link to learn how to create your cigar bands:

Hope this helps,
Marilyn

I would like try the natural paper cigar style wrap, my only concern is dust and warping of shape etc...

If you have a program like Printmaster, you can make your own labels. What I did for one batch of soap was to cut cigar bands, the width of the soap out of card stock. I taped these bands around the soap.
I used Printmaster to make a label and design on plain white paper and printed it out. I then cut the designed paper to fit the soap and wrapped the soap. The card stock cigar band gives you a firm base on which to wrap your soap, thus giving it a more professional look.

Here is a website with some ideas on wrapping soap:

CP? HP? or Melt & Pour?

I use scrapbooking paper & a cigar band. I can attach the cigar band to the craft paper, so it never slips off.

My round & oval soaps are wrapped in coffee filters, which are really excellent, because you can smell the soap through the paper.

m & p can sweat and may get the paper wet. For my mp soaps I usally use plastic wrap or shrink wrap and get shipping or address labels (for mail) and print my info. and stick them on.
