You are right - the citric acid should go in with the lye before it all goes in to the oils. I don't know if the lye would react with all of the citric acid before the oils, or if you would end up with a superfat including some citric acid! Adding it to the lye ensures all your target sodium citrate
 
I did. And I made these changes last night. Changed SF to 3%
Used 33% lye concentration.
Put tussah silk and citric acid in water and everything else went into oils. I really liked having that extra time to mix the ingredients. I use to rush after adding lye water, trying to hurry up and mix the colorants or fragrance. I like this way better.
