looking for solid shampoo bar recipe

I'm wanting to experiment with this...and looking for intensely moisturizing bar, for both color and heat treated hair. One thing: not sure about the surfactant...can not have any SLS -like properties...SLS is murder on color.

Ideas???

Ditto!! I ended up buying the hair care book and it is a wonderful help to have the info in one place.

The herbarie has a surfactant they say is good for color treated hair. Not sure if that helps for a shampoo bar though since it is a liquid
