Can anyone tell me if lemongrass EO might work as a fixative for a Lemon Verbena EO blend?

Also, how much of the Lemon Verbena would you recommend I use ppo for a nice strong scent?

Oh Lemon Verbena smells sooooo good! I made a batch about a week ago and I used 1 oz ppo. It's strong but still smells so good. If it weakens a tiny bit with curing time it will be perfect.

You would be much better off using Litsea Cubea as a fixative for any citrus eo/fo imo.

What she said Litsea Cubeba.Citrus vanishes from cp soap.Nobody knows where it goes though.

I've heard about litsea cubeba, but I don't have any on hand. Maybe I should wait to order some before making Lemon Verbena soap.

i have found that lemon verbena e/o very expensive in the past, so i save that for bath & body stuff. it takes such a beating in the lye process.

lit. cubeba is much more economical, and can stand up to soaping. i actually prefer it over l.v. in soap.

it is also called may-chang.
