I got some Lemon powder from WSp to try in my cp soap. The information states it is water soluble. Do I add it to the water before adding the sodium hydroxide, or do I still go ahead and add it at trace. I am using it for a natural colorant and hopefully the smell.

First time doing something like this.

Thanks,
Michael

I would discount the amount of water I used to dissolve the lemon powder from that I used for the lye. I would add the dissolved lemon powder at thin trace; but don't add too much or it might neutralize your lye.
