I'm looking for waxed (not glassine) paper bags. However, I want them gusseted (1.5 inches) and approximately 4X4 or 4X5 inches. Anybody have any recommendations? I've searched this site and online.

Yes, and they all seem too big. I'm a bit confused about the glassine thing, though. I've seen several posts where people say they are just plain paper, yet one restaurant supply stated they were made of waxed paper. Search continues.

Some glassine paper (the stuff used in the food industry) is treated with a wax layer. They usually call that Waxed glassine. But wax paper and glassine paper are not the same.

Papermart.com has wax bags and glassine bags.
Here's wax bags.

The only gusseted ones are 5" x 4 1/2"

Uline.com also sells both.

You may want to see if you can get samples of both to see which you prefer.

Thank you, Genny. I believe this is exactly what I'm looking for. Not quite sure why I didn't see them when I went to this site. All the print is so small, my old eyes start crossing
