I made this without researching properly   I insulated the mold overnight and it must have got very very hot,..too hot, I'm assuming it was the honey I added oops

Does anyone know if the soap is alright? It smells like a gingernut biscuit, but maybe I should not have insulated it

I am happy with how it turned out though, thanks for looking!

:D i think it looks lovely!

i usually check every 1/2 hr to see how hot my soap is getting. if it seems to be over heating, just remove the insulation.

That soap is beautiful! I think the sorta mottled look of heated honey makes it look better, IMHO. It's a fine line between volcano and a little overheated. To me it looks you hit it perfect!

Sure looks nice to me!! :)

Your scent sounds delicious- what did you use?

It looks really good.

I don't insulate honey and milk soaps at all....one main reason is because mine are wood molds which hold the heat more. I just throw a piece of wax paper over the top so nothing falls in it.

Did you scent this batch?

Wow, thanks everyone!

I didn't use an FO, I'm assuming the fragrance is from the (over)heated honey and milk?

I think I just got lucky with the fragrance..mmm...gingersnap :D
