Afternoon,

I am new to all this and excited to read everyone’s tips and tricks.

Everytime I make candles it always dips or collects around the wick. I have followed so many YouTube videos and advice posts but nothing is working.

I poke around the wick to check for sink holes and follow steps but nothing is working?

Please help me out as I don’t want to give up just yet but feel I may have too

What type of wax are you using?
How hot are you pouring?
Are you doing a repour after you poke the relief holes?
A dip means the wax is shrinking, and some waxes just do that no matter what.

A little more information is needed before we can truly help.

I am using kerasoy container wax and pouring between 45c-50c and yes I do a repour once I poke holes.

Yep looks about normal for soy blends tbh. It will depend how perfect you are looking for but soy does have a tendency to misbehave.

I am a newbie at candle making. But I tried to make my own candles, it successful, looks not bad.
YouTube and some candle making blogs help me a lot.
