Help! Steps to set up business?

I have an idea of what I need to do before I sell my soap, lip balks, skin care etc. Any input would be appreciated.

1. Set up llc
2. Get fed I'd number?
3. Purchase insurance
4. Get logo
5. Design packaging
6. Anything special I need to do to sell lotions, skin care etc? Is it any different than soap?

For number 2, go to your local office (in my town, it is called the County Government Center) and request one.... fill out paperwork stating what you plan on making and what materials you will be using.. return that and pay small amount, and that's it..

I can't help with the rest, but this topic has been covered multiple times in the past - I'm sure you found some of your answers by now looking through the archives... I sell soap - it's easy... Lotion requires a lot more planning that I am still years away from
