I recently ordered a 1" soap cutter from Ernie from Cedar Mountain Crafts on Etsy, and I just had to tell you how pleased I am with it! It comes complete with cutting blade, cutting box & loaf support and shipping is FREE! ($35 complete)

The workmanship is superb and the blade cuts thru soap like a hot butter knife...just enough room for cutter to move freely without binding, but no sloppy cuts...I got perfect 1" cuts and my soaps look great!

the cutter comes in 1" and 1.25" and straight or wavy cuts.

I am very, very pleased with my purchase!

Here's a pic of my sliced soap, OM&H. As you can see, it cuts nice & smooth. I kept the blade wiped clean of soap crumbs and smooth on a bit of mineral oil.

Let me point out that the f/o is gingerbread and discolors a lot! It smells great, tho!

Please forgive the size of the pic...photobucket is only giving me a one-size option, and I haven't got the knack yet...Image shack is now charging for downloading!
