I'm soooooooo happy to present you my first lemon soap! I used coconut oil, sweet almond oil, olive oil and lemons from our garden.

Looks really good. Did you use juice or just the zest?

I was afraid to use the juice, I thought it might explode :smile: . So I used just the zest and added a few drops of citrus essential oil. It smells just like fresh lemon, maybe a little more than what I was expecting.

The juice wouldn't have made it explode but it could have ruined your soap. Lemon juice can neutralize lye if too much is used, you did right by just using the zest. I love lemon scented soap, citrus can fade in CP soap though so your strong scent probably won't last too long.
