I want to make a 2 pound batch of tea tree soap how much essential oil should I put?

i use about .5 to .7 or 1 ounce ppo , but all in all the strength of the EO will kind of give you an idea of how much you would want to use because some EO's are strong. .5 is a good start

I just made a batch of tea tree soap and .5 oz PPO seems too strong. I really hope the scent fades some.

Getting the perfect scent, 3%-5% PPO is enough for 2 pounds soap. I usually use 0.4 oz PPO.

Tea Tree is really strong. I would measure out .5 ppo and then add it until it's the strength you like it. I added it at .5 and found it too strong.
