Droplets / white spots on soap???

What are these droplets? They were present on my soap the day after making and as they dry out they became white spots. I have very cautiously done a zap test and think its ok in that respect, so don't think its lye but what is it then? Once cured, is it safe to use?

Are you using fragrance oil in the soap? If so, that might be what is causing the spots.

I used sweet orange and mandarin E.O.

I would not think those essential oils would have caused this problem. Sometimes fragrance oils will "sweat" out of a soap. I would zap test several of the bars and if they don't zap, then the soap should be OK to use, unless it starts growing "fuzzies".

Don't worry those are meant to be there I used dried orange peel as an exfoliant.
