findings. I just checked on my bars I poured 2 weeks with Dragon's Blood at 6% which usually turn dark brown, although not as dark as many DB's turn. I use a 25% salt brine and full water this time to see how they do since I wanted as much salt as I could in the soap. Last time I made the same recipe I used a water discount and could not dissolve the 5 oz of salt I wanted, but the bars turned a darker tan. These were both poured out of the same batch of fragrance. I find it interesting and will be pouring another today to see how it comes. BTW, using full water created a very thick layer of ash that will roll off the bar if you rub your finger over it. Guess these will get a warm salt bath before packaging.
I am now wondering if I shall have a problem convincing my customers these are the same fragrance they are used to. hum....time will tell:)
