I found another box that I like better. It's 8x8. I reinforced it with duct tape but I'm thinking about using Flex to make it leak proof. It's supposed to be food safe and non-toxic. Has anyone tried this stuff before?

i would use just the duck tape. it might be good thing and really smooth, but on the other hand, I bet it has alot more chemicals in it than even the tape but not sure if any of them would have any kind of reactions to hot soap on it... even with liner.. not sure on that BUT sure would be much more expensive for just a cardboard box.

I know a guy who swears by Flex seal for preventing leaks around windows in trailers/RV's. But he also said he re-applies it annually, so my guess is that the heat from the sun (hot sun on metal vehicles and glass) causes deterioration. So it may be something to consider for soap you might think of putting in the oven for CPOP.
