Hello..Im wondering wether anyone can help me, the last batch of soap I made started rising (like a cake) when i put it in the mould. I used 1500g olive pomace oil, 900g palm oil, 600g coconut oil, 455 lye with 975g water. Thanks

How hot were your temperatures?

This tends to happen when the soap batter gets very hot.

Temperature is evrything. If you used a FO or EO make sure it's not one that tends to heat up your batch. IF it is just let your lye water and oils cool down more. When I do Cinnamon I have to soap at around 90º F so that this doesn't happen.
