I have searched walmart and found only coconut, olive, canola, vegetable
(soybean, corn) oil. Also lard, crisco and a hydrogenated veg-tallow mix.
I found a better selection of oils at Kroger, grapeseed, walnut, safflower.

I just remembered they carry a palm/soybean mix at Restaurant Depot. Soybean is genetically modified except for organic and I don't use known GMO products.

A lot of Asian and Indian food stores sell palm (sometimes called "vegetable Ghee). Also, there's a palm shortening that you can get at almost any hippy / whole foods store...Spectrum, I believe is the brand name of it. I know these items will be more expensive than buying it by the bucket, but it'll give you something to work with until you decide you need to buy in bulk. ;)
