I have looked online for a fisherman's soap(Anise Soap) recipe and only got ones that are 100% coconut oil .... I'm not sure but how does that work??
Has anyone else made this type of soap ???
Does it lather up and work good???
HELP PLEASE!!!

The reason for the Coconut oil in a fishermans soap is because (presumably) they are using salt water, and soap made with coconut oil is the only one that will lather up.
Hence why salt bars are made with a lot of coconut oil, same reason.
As far as the anise goes, are you using essential oil?
Just use your normal soap recipe if you want, and then just add for eo/fo as you normally would.
No special anise soap recipe!!
I've done anise/licorice soap for my mum, she loves licorice. She keeps telling me she wants to eat the soap.
I coloured mine white and black with charcoal powder.
Smells great, but it's a fairly strong smell, so you might want to use a light touch!

Yep yep, your usual recipe will work just fine if it's not intended for saltwater use.
