I was just curious....I know some soapers don't gel their soap...why is that? I thought soap gelled whether you wanted it to or not....I didn't think you could control that stage of soap making.

Midnightstorm, I too have used Amanda's recipe for bubble bars and am looking for a more dough-like consistency. I have had to add quite a bit more of the Sulfoacetate/Sulfosuccinate Blend to achieve this. I love Lush's bubble bars and thats what I have always wanted to make but can't seem to...

I want to know how much a full size bunt cake pan holds when it comes to soap "batter". I usually make 3 lb. batches of soap....do you think it would be enough to fill the cake mold? Hmmm....

Soapers Choice is just 20 mintues away from me.....I just found that out 3 weeks ago....imagine how excited I was!!

I hope that you find something you can use. I love the containers though they don't have a pour lip I find that they fits my needs well. I also have 8 cup measuring cups I got from a Corning Ware store at a mall but I find I don't use them as much unless I'm coloring the soap for swirling...
